Invasion of Britain - Battle Report part 1


The Combine Assault force lands on the beaches after the preliminary bombardment. The coastal defenses were damaged in the bombardment but still managed to take out two heavy tanks before being overrun.

The Paneuropean occupying forces are well entrenched but unprepared for an assault of this speed and fury. Hurrying to halt the Combine attack, Paneuropean troops attempt to destroy two key bridges across the river.

Combine GEV Brigade is greeted by cheering British partisans as they fly through the streets of the newly liberated city. In the background the Paneuropean infantry squad garrison makes an orderly retreat from the city. The Combine Armor advances inland to the right.

The Paneuropean city garrison of tanks, missile tanks and infantry faces off against the Combine Mark III Ogre “Raptor” and a Brigade of heavy tanks meanwhile the second Combine GEV Brigade rushes upstream towards the damaged Bridge, which the Paneuropeans failed to destroy in time.

The Paneuropean garrison and emplaced howitzer desperately tries to destroy the key bridge before Combine heavy tanks can exploit it.

Combine first GEV and first heavy tank brigades push Paneuropean forces past the stream inflicting several casualties including the coastal city garrison but taking casualties in the process. They stop just out of range of artillery fire. The western wing of the Combine assault grinding to a stop.
