Invasion of Britain - Battle Report Part 2



Combine third heavy tank brigade exploits across the bridge and is followed by the Mark III Ogre. Combine GEV’s speed toward their goal but the Paneuropean howitzer speaks and a GEV is lost beneath the surf to its deadly fire.

Paneuropean garrison and tank brigade take cover within the city against the incoming Combine assault.

Combine tank brigade, spearheaded by the Ogre charges the city being met by opposing infantry and a barrage of missiles. The GEV company swoops in and out loosing another vehicle to howitzer fire. In the background a Paneuropean Ogre Mark III enters the sector and moves toward the Combine Ogre to halt it in its path.

Combine Ogre weapon systems erupt in flame as the city garrison unleashes a torrent of fire. Meanwhile Paneuropean infantry squads disable a Combine heavy tank.

On the western front the Combine forces halt out of range after passage across the river is blocked as the Paneuropeans destroy the bridge in the area.

The Ogre moves forward followed by the second Combine heavy tank brigade another heavy tank is lost, the Paneuropean Ogre knocks “Raptor’s” first missile out. The third reinforcement GEV brigade, moves up and joins with the second. “Raptor” and the second tank division disable three vehicles in the city and obliterate several squads of infantry. The third heavy tank brigade begins crossing the river attempting to flank the city garrison.
